About this event:
A new baby changes almost everything - including the rhythm of your relationship. Between sleepless nights, shifting priorities, family expectations, and the nonstop demands of caring for a baby, it can be surprisingly hard to make room for the two of you.
In this conversation, we’ll explore practical, realistic ways to stay connected as partners while adjusting to parenthood. We’ll talk about keeping emotional and physical intimacy alive, balancing your relationship with work, rest, friendships, and family, and navigating boundaries with grandparents, in-laws, and extended family.
We’ll also look at what it means to stay friends through this transition: holding onto humor, affection, curiosity, and the small moments that remind you why you chose each other in the first place. You’ll leave with approachable ideas for checking in, showing appreciation, and creating meaningful connection without needing elaborate date nights or hours of uninterrupted time.
