About this event:
Tummy time doesn’t have to mean tears, timers, or stress. Whether your baby resists tummy time or you’re simply wondering how to get started, this session will help you make this important developmental activity more comfortable and enjoyable for both of you.
Led by Bonnie Soto a pediatric physical therapist specializing in infant development, this practical event will explore how tummy time supports your pre-crawling baby’s movement, strength, and development. You’ll see simple techniques for preparing your baby for tummy time, learn how to position them comfortably and effectively, and discover helpful ways to troubleshoot common challenges.
You’ll also learn how to follow your baby’s cues instead of watching the clock, incorporate tummy time naturally into your day, and find alternative positions and approaches that support the same developmental goals. Whether tummy time is brand new or has already become a struggle, you’ll leave with practical tools and greater confidence to make it a positive experience.
