Pregnancy after loss can hold hope, joy, grief, and fear all at once. Join licensed psychotherapist Elizabeth Baron, reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Lucky Sekhon, and reproductive psychiatrist Dr. Sarah Oreck for a compassionate conversation about navigating pregnancy after miscarriage or infant loss. We’ll talk about anxiety between appointments, difficult milestones, communicating with your care team, protecting your mental health, and finding support throughout a pregnancy that may feel very different from the last. There is no pressure to “stay positive,” just an honest conversation about finding hope while still holding fear.

Pregnant Again After Loss: Finding Hope While Holding Fear

About this event:

Pregnancy after loss can bring a complicated mix of emotions. There may be enormous hope and excitement, but also fear, grief, anxiety, and the feeling that it’s suddenly much harder to trust that everything will be okay.

Join us for Pregnant Again After Loss: Finding Hope While Holding Fear, a compassionate and honest conversation moderated by Lindsey Campbell from Auggie, with licensed psychotherapist Elizabeth Baron, reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist Dr. Lucky Sekhon, and reproductive psychiatrist Dr. Sarah Oreck.

Together, we’ll talk about anxiety between appointments, scans and milestones that can feel particularly loaded, communicating with your care team, coping with uncertainty, navigating comments from other people, and allowing yourself to feel joy without feeling as though you’re forgetting or minimizing the baby or pregnancy you lost. We’ll also discuss partners, relationships, mental health support, and how to recognize when anxiety or grief may need additional care.

This isn’t about telling women to “stay positive” or promising that the fear will disappear. It’s about making space for hope and fear to exist together, providing practical tools for the hardest moments, and helping parents feel less alone as they navigate pregnancy after loss.
