About this event:
Red, itchy skin. Stubborn flare-ups. Endless creams, confusing ingredient labels, and the frustration of watching your little one feel uncomfortable. Childhood eczema can leave parents feeling like they're constantly trying to solve a puzzle without knowing which pieces actually matter.
Is it something they're eating? Their laundry detergent? Their skincare products? Their gut health? And why does something that works beautifully for one child seem to do absolutely nothing for another?
Join us for The Eczema Puzzle: What's Triggering It & What Actually Helps, a practical, science-backed conversation about understanding childhood eczema, identifying potential triggers, and finding solutions that genuinely help.
We'll be joined by Danielle Shea Tan, MS, CNS, LDN, of Tiny Health; Andrea Faulkner Williams of Tubby Todd; pediatrician and registered dietitian Dr. Liz Daniels, DO, RDN, FAAP; Dr. Lyndsey Garbi, MD, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Blueberry Pediatrics; and Meredith Gieskes, Chief Marketing Officer of HealthyBaby.
Together, we'll explore why eczema develops, what commonly triggers flare-ups, and how parents can distinguish eczema from dry skin, allergic reactions, and other childhood rashes. We'll talk about the skin barrier, moisturizers, bathing routines, skincare ingredients, and when prescription treatment may be necessary.
We'll also dive into the questions parents are constantly asking: Can food allergies make eczema worse? Does gut health play a role? Do detergents, fragrances, fabrics, and everyday household products matter? And how can parents separate evidence-based guidance from the endless recommendations circulating online?
Most importantly, we'll discuss how to build a realistic skincare routine, recognize when additional medical support is needed, and manage the frustration and guilt that can come with persistent flare-ups.
Whether you're navigating your baby's first eczema flare or have been searching for answers for months, you'll leave with practical guidance, a better understanding of your child's skin, and greater confidence about what to try next.
